On 29 January 2012 the class begins a new discussion with Sinning Like a Christian:  A New Look at the Seven Deadly Sins by William H. Willimon.  Copies are available from Pastor McCall.


The class has studied various subjects including Reformed theology, evolution and creationism, the resurrection of Christ, church history, and contemporary Worldviews.  Books recently studied have included:

Junior High (Grades 6, 7, and 8)

Bible Study, Church History, The Shorter Catechism, and Topical Studies

 

The class continues it study on The Shorter Catechism.  The text book is available from Mr. Smith or Mr. Vaughan.


 

Beginner (Grades K, 1, and 2) & Primary (Grades 3, 4, and 5)

God’s Redemption of His people – Genesis to Revelation

 

Both classes follow a three-year, 144-lesson curriculum that teaches God’s plan to redeem His people.  The lessons are taught at the appropriate level for each age group, and allow for family discussion and review.  Crafts and activities for each class are age appropriate.

The children learn bible stories and the tenets of the Catechism for young children.  They also enjoy arts and crafts related to the lesson of the day.
